Why I’m Creating This Podcast (And Why Now)

A Response to What Agents Are Really Experiencing

Over time, I began noticing a pattern in the real estate industry that mindset alone could not resolve. Agents worked hard, stayed positive, and followed the advice they were given, yet many still felt disconnected from their work and uncertain about long-term sustainability. The conversations that revealed this reality rarely happened in public. They happened quietly, behind closed doors, where honesty felt safer. This real estate podcast for agents began as a response to those conversations.

After more than two decades in real estate, I have experienced the full range of what this industry offers. I have seen growth, opportunity, and meaningful success. I have also witnessed burnout, isolation, and the emotional weight agents often carry while continuing to show up for clients, teams, and families. Even agents who genuinely love real estate can feel depleted when the structure surrounding their business no longer supports who they are becoming.

What became clear to me was simple: agents do not need more hype. They need more honesty.

What Has Been Missing in the Industry

The real estate industry excels at teaching tactics, systems, and strategies. It pays far less attention to the lived experience of agents building year after year. When challenges arise, the industry often encourages positive thinking, renewed motivation, or bigger goals. While those tools can help in certain moments, they cannot answer deeper questions around alignment, identity, and sustainability.

This podcast does not exist to provide quick wins or surface-level inspiration. It exists to create space for honest conversations about mindset, money, leadership, and identity. These conversations acknowledge the human experience behind production numbers and support agents who want businesses that serve their lives, not consume them.

Why This Moment Matters

The timing of this podcast matters because the industry is changing. Agents are asking deeper questions about purpose, direction, and fulfillment. Many no longer feel satisfied with growth that comes at the expense of peace or clarity. Success without alignment no longer feels like success.

I see capable, committed agents doing everything “right” while quietly questioning what comes next. When those questions remain unanswered, burnout often follows. When agents explore them honestly, clarity begins to form.

My own journey, including my work alongside agents at Epique Realty, reinforced this belief. When systems, leadership, and community support long-term sustainability, agents gain the freedom to build with intention instead of constant urgency.

An Invitation Forward

This podcast is not a pitch or a program. It is an invitation. It invites agents to pause, listen, and reflect on what abundance truly looks like at this stage of their journey. It offers space for agents who want to grow without losing themselves in the process.

January has focused on intention and clarity. February opens the door to conversation. After years of listening to agents share their stories quietly, I feel grateful for the opportunity to bring these conversations into the open.

This podcast is simply a place to begin.
