Our recent Local Business Planning Retreat wasn’t just another training day; it was a profound reset and a necessary recalibration. It was a powerful reminder that when we invest in ourselves, we become better leaders, better agents, and better humans. And when we invest in each other, we create a culture that grows deeper, stronger roots than any fleeting marketing strategy ever could.

This retreat was crafted for agents who crave more than just a brokerage logo. We began the morning with a calming Pilates session that helped everyone settle their energy and become fully present. As the movements continued, the room softened. Stress eased, focus increased and people started to reconnect with themselves. This grounding practice prepared everyone for the deeper work ahead.

In addition, the session provided beautiful behind-the-scenes content that captured the spirit of wellness at Epique. These natural moments revealed how important physical alignment is to business clarity.

Mindset Growth at the Epique Real Estate Retreat

Learning to Live Above the Line

After focusing on the body, we shifted into mindset work. The session titled Living Above the Line encouraged agents to move away from scarcity thinking and toward abundance. As the discussion unfolded, we explored several important principles.

In the afternoon, we transitioned into practical marketing strategy. Penny Pereboom delivered a powerful session that helped agents understand what truly works right now. She explained:

To close the day, each agent selected and designed a framed version of their Word for 2026. Words such as IGNITE, FOCUS and ABUNDANCE appeared throughout the room. Although the activity seemed simple, it created a powerful shift. Seeing their word in a physical form strengthened each agent’s direction and commitment for the new year.

This moment offered a full-circle connection to the earlier mindset session. It reminded everyone that clarity begins with intention.

Purpose in Action: The Epique Arbres Sustainability Program

A Tree for Every Closing

One of the most meaningful highlights of the retreat involved filming the introduction of the new Epique Arbres Program. Through this initiative, Epique Cares will plant one tree for every closing. Consequently, the success of our agents will help create forests and long-term environmental impact.

This program reflects the heart of our culture. We believe that business growth should also support environmental and social responsibility.
